I started riding properly in 2010 on an old Suzuki SV650 and never really stopped. Since then I've put more than 250,000 kilometres under the wheels of touring, sport and adventure bikes across the Alps, the Pyrenees, Scandinavia, the Balkans and most of Western Europe.
Motorcycle Routes Guide grew out of years of personal trip notes — fuel stops that mattered, passes that opened late, the cafés where the locals actually drink coffee, the corners that ride better in one direction than the other. Most online route descriptions were either missing those details or copied from each other. I wanted a single place where rider-first information was the whole point.
I write the bulk of the routes and country guides on this site, edit submissions from other riders, and re-check the major routes each season. If you ride one of our routes and find something we got wrong — a closed pass, a vanished petrol station, a difficulty rating that doesn't match reality — I genuinely want to hear about it.
